Our Health Guarantee
Alabama Labrador Retrievers offers a one-year health guarantee. If a puppy is determined to have a qualifying health condition covered under this guarantee, a replacement puppy may be provided at the breeder's discretion.
All puppies and dogs are sold "as-is," and any replacement is subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations outlined in this guarantee. Please carefully review the following requirements to understand the coverage and eligibility guidelines.
Qualifying Health Conditions
A qualifying health condition is defined as a serious medical condition that is life-threatening, expected to significantly shorten the dog's lifespan, or substantially diminish the dog's quality of life.
The condition must be diagnosed and documented by a licensed veterinarian. Eligibility for a replacement puppy will be determined by Alabama Labrador Retrievers in accordance with the terms and conditions of this health guarantee.

This health guarantee remains valid until the puppy reaches one year of age. To maintain eligibility, the following requirements must be met:

AKC Registration: The puppy must be officially registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). A completed AKC registration certificate is required; an application alone does not qualify.
-
Microchip Registration: The puppy's microchip must be properly registered with the owner's current contact information.

Pet Insurance Activation: The complimentary 30-day pet insurance provided by the breeder must be activated.
-
Veterinary Examination: The puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving the puppy. Documentation of this examination must be available upon request.
-
Vaccination Requirements: The puppy must remain current on all age-appropriate, veterinarian-recommended vaccinations according to the recommended vaccination schedule.
-
No Alterations: The puppy must not have undergone any alterations that would affect eligibility under this guarantee.
-
Veterinary Records: The buyer must provide proof of veterinary examinations and care for all household pets, along with the contact information for the attending veterinarian or veterinary clinic.
